Following her vintage Chloé look for the Sense and Sensibility LA premiere, Daisy Edgar-Jones continued exploring the home’s archives with two early-morning press appearances in New York.
Each seems characteristic graphic tops from Chloé’s Spring 1999 assortment, designed by Stella McCartney. It’s a stunning continuation of her premiere second, with the styling making these archival items really feel so present.
Hummingbird Romance
For her first look, Daisy wore a classic Chloé Spring 1999 hummingbird-print prime, sourced by My Runway Archive, with shiny chartreuse leather-based trousers.
Whereas the watercolour-like print is gorgeous, I’m all about these chartreuse classic Versace leather-based trousers from the 2000s. The shade picks up the hotter tones within the print, making this an impressed pairing.
That is the sort of styling I like to see. Recreating a runway look can work, however I’m much more focused on seeing how a stylist interprets a bit away from the runway. It tells us a lot extra about their imaginative and prescient.
It’s Y2K dressing at its finest, with out feeling like a throwback.

Eagle-Eyed
Her re-examination featured one other Chloé Spring 1999 archive piece with an airbrushed eagle motif, paired with pale blue lace-trimmed shorts from Chloé’s Spring 2026 assortment.
This was barely extra daring due to the lingerie-inspired shorts. I like the concept of blending items from collections almost three a long time aside, notably when the outcome feels this playful.
Talking of nostalgia, the mannequin on the unique runway is sporting these rhinestone, heart-accented Chloé sun shades. Does anybody else bear in mind after we, together with seemingly each celeb, have been obsessive about them?
The white pointed-toe pumps add to the freshness of this look.
I’ve all the time loved the press junket aspect of a promotional tour simply as a lot because the pink carpet. It’s the place we get to see how stylists strategy extra informal dressing.
