    This Fashion Nonprofit Prepares Aspiring Female Designers for Economic Success

    Baez, a Dominican designer from the Bronx, says her love of vogue stems from the “lovely clothes” her grandmother, a lifelong seamstress, created for Baez and her cousins. “I nonetheless keep in mind these designs that she made for us rising up,” she says.
